,To secure all connections use
appropriate Teon tape orathread
compound.
Usea10" slip joint wrench only.
^At the end of the dryer's gas
connection hand screw on the
3/8"NPT elbow.
Using a wrench tighten the elbow
withahalf turn.
^Secure the gas connection with
Teon tape or thread compound.
^Install a 3/8" are union adapter, a, to
the female elbow, b.
Hold the elbow with a wrench.
The maximum amount o orce used
should be 531 lb n. (60 Nm).
^Secure the exible metal gas line
connector to the adapter.
