The system lock prevents your
machine being used without your
knowledge.
It can be activated if wished.
The dryer's electronics are locked. The
dryer can still be switched on but a
programme cannot be started. The
Locked
indicator light will flash if an
attempt is made to start a programme.
The door is not locked and can be
opened at any time.
To activate the lock
Before you begin, first ensure that:
– the door is closed.
– The programme selector is at
Finish
.
ASwitch the dryer on with the
I-On/0-Off
button.
BPress the
Short
button and keep it
pressed in whilst carrying out steps
Cto E.
CSlowly turn the programme selector
clockwise stage by stage to the
Cottons Hand iron
position.
DSlowly turn the programme selector
anti-clockwise stage by stage to
Finish
.
ESlowly turn the programme selector
anti-clockwise stage by stage to
Denim
.
The
Locked
indicator light will flash.
FThen release the
Short
button.
The system lock is activated.
GSwitch the machine off with the
I-On/0-Off
button.
To deactivate the lock
Before you begin, first ensure that:
–the door is closed.
–The programme selector is at
Finish
.

I-On/0-Off
button.
BPress the
Short
button and keep it
pressed in whilst carrying out steps
Cto E.
CSlowly turn the programme selector
clockwise stage by stage to the

DSlowly turn the programme selector
anti-clockwise stage by stage to
Finish

ESlowly turn the programme selector
anti-clockwise stage by stage to
Denim
.
The
Locked
indicator light will go out.
FThen release the
Short
button.
The system lock is now deactivated.
