Maintenance Quick Reference
You must perform certain maintenance procedures for your printer to function properly:
Clean the printhead | Clean the platen roller |
Clean the peel bar | Clean the outside of the printer. |
Cleaning the Printhead
Follow these instructions to clean the printhead.
Clean the printhead every time you load a new roll of paper labels into the printer.
1.Turn the printer off (O).
2.Press the cover release buttons (on both sides of the printer) towards the front of the printer. Lift open the cover.
3.Gently rub the cleaning pen (#114226) across the printhead.
Cleaning the Peel Bar
Follow these instructions to clean the peel bar.
Clean the peel bar every time you load a new roll of paper supply into the printer.
1.Turn the printer off (O).
2.Press the cover release buttons (on both sides of the printer) towards the front of the printer. Lift open the cover.
3.Gently rub the cleaning pen (#114226) across the peel bar.
