USING YOUR HAIR DRYER:

1Having shampooed your hair, ensure that it is rinsed thoroughly as shampoo that is left in the hair will leave it looking dull.

2Comb your hair through with a wide-tooth comb to remove tangles before styling.

3Ensure the concentrator nozzle & diffuser (diffuser only with 21036) attachment are detached.

4Move the on/off switch to positionto turn the hair dryer on.

5Use the three heatand two speedsettings to make the dryer operate faster and hotter, to help remove excess water from your hair.

6As your hair begins to dry, switch off the hair dryer and clip on the concentrator nozzle or diffuser (diffuser only with 21036) to begin styling your hair. For a straight style, use the concentrator to direct air down into the shaft of hair.

Straight

7As you begin to style your hair during drying, move the heat and speed buttons to select a slower and cooler setting use cool shot to set the style.

Curly

8If you want to create volume instead, attach the diffuser (only with 21036) to your hair dryer. Switch off the hair dryer then push the diffuser onto the end of the hair dryer ensuring it clicks into place. Collecting hair in the diffuser as you dry will give you a textured/tousled look or will enhance natural curls.

9When your hair is dry, and you have achieved the desired style,

press the cool shot button. This will release a burst of cold air which will set your style in place. Press the button again to return to normal styling temperature.

10Always remember to switch the on/off button to the position 0, to turn your hair dryer off.

ALWAYS CLEAN YOUR FILTER

Cleaning the air filter regularly will ensure that only clean air is used to dry your hair and that the dryer will not overheat and cut out. To remove the air filter, enure the hair dryer is unplugged from the mains supply. Hold the body of the dryer firmly while pressing in the two sides of the filter and pulling it to release. Clean away hair and lint from the filter. Ensure the filter is completely dry before refitting. To re-fit, align the filter on the dryer and push back into place.

WIRING

The product is fitted with a 13A (BS1363) plug. A 13A fuse (BS1362) must be used. Check the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your house electricity supply which must be AC (Alternating Current). If the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this appliance the plug should be removed and an appropriate one fitted.
