Cleaning the dust canister filter assembly
1Operate the filter cleaning dial Þ several times and empty the dust canister over a bin.
2To access the filter assembly
rotate the dust canister lid
3 | Turn the central mesh filter |

| clockwise to remove and |

4 | Detach the pleated filter | from |
the dust canister lid by a firm pull/twist action L.
5Both the mesh and pleated filters may be washed in warm water (no detergent). Allow to air dry. Ensure the filters are thoroughly dry before refitting.

Refit the mesh filter and turn
Motor protection filter
The motor protection filter is located underneath the dust canister M.
1Remove the dust canister.
2Lift out the filter and shake over a dustbin. The filter may also be washed in warm water (no detergents). Allow the filter to air dry. Ensure the filter is thoroughly dry before refitting.
3Replace the filter.
Exhaust filter
The HEPA exhaust filter should be replaced every 6 months to maintain the high performance filtration. Call our helpline.
The exhaust filter is located below the dust canister compartment.
1Remove the exhaust filter grille â N.
2Remove the exhaust filter ã by pulling forward at the top and lifting away.
3Fit the replacement filter.
4Refit the grille.
5Dispose of the used filter in the dust bin.
HINTS AND TIPS
Safety
(Suction motor)
If the cleaner overheats, a motor protection thermostat will automatically switch the motor off. If this happens, switch the cleaner off, unplug from the power supply and leave the cleaner to cool for at least 60 minutes. Check the airways for blockages, empty dust canister and clean the filters before restarting.
