Tube standby G
During short breaks in cleaning, the tubes can be held in an upright ‘standby’ position, whilst you move furniture for instance.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the appliance is never left unattended whilst it is switched on.
Cable rewind H
Switch off the appliance. Remove the plug from the mains supply and rewind the power cable using the cable rewind switch å.
WARNING: When using the cable rewind, always hold the plug as the cable will rewind quickly.
STORAGE
Tube park I
The vacuum cleaner can be stored in an upright position. Rotate the floor nozzle until the lug on the back of it can be fitted into the tube park slot ì on the base of the appliance.
DUSTBAG
Changing the dustbag J, K & L
If suction power is reduced or if the ‘dustbag full’ indicator ç is permanently fully red, the dustbag needs changing. Also, check whether the suction hose, tube or nozzle are blocked.
To access the dustbag, press the dust compartment release lever Ü to open the cover J.
1Pull the tab on the dustbag to one side so that the opening is hygienically sealed K.
2Pull out the dustbag holder ß and dustbag in an upward direction L.
3Pull the bag Þ sideways out of the holder ß M.
4Dispose of the bag with your household waste.
5Insert a new dustbag in the holder.
6Replace the dustbag holder and close the cover.
IMPORTANT: If a dustbag is not fitted, the cover will not close. This is a safety feature.
