Using Capitalization

Press 0in any text entry screen to change text case. The following indicators show capitalization status:

U=no capital letters V=capitalize next

T=all capital letters letter only

Text Entry Method Indicators

When you select the Primary or Secondary text entry method, the following indicators identify the text entry setting:

Primary Secondary

gm Tap, no capital letters

ùú Tap, capitalize next letter only

fl Tap, all capital letters

jp iTAP, no capital

letters

kn iTAP, capitalize next letter only

io iTAP, all capital

letters

The following indicators identify Numeric or Symbol entry method:

W=numeric	[=symbol method
method

Tap Method

This is the standard method for entering text on your phone.

Regular Tap English method cycles through the letters and numbers of the key you press. Tap Extended method also cycles through additional symbols as shown in the “Character Chart” on page 31.
