A locked phone still rings or vibrates for incoming calls or messages, but you must unlock it to answer. To use a locked phone, enter the unlock code.

You can make emergency calls on your phone even when it is locked. See page 52.

Locking Your Phone Manually

Find the Feature		M > Settings > Security
		> Phone Lock
		> Lock Now
	Press	To
1	keypad keys	enter your 4-digit unlock code
2	OK (+)	lock the phone

Unlocking Your Phone

At the Enter Unlock Code prompt:

	Press	To
1	keypad keys	enter your 4-digit unlock code
		The unlock code is originally
		set to 1234. If necessary, see
		“If You Forget a Code or
		Password” on page 43.
2	OK (+)	unlock your phone
