SENDING A CALL RECEIVING A CALL
1Turn your radio on.
2Use the Channel Selector knob to select the
desired channel.
3Hold the radio in a vertical
position, press the PTT button,
and talk at a distance of about
1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm)
from the microphone.
4Release the PTT button to listen.
1Turn your radio on.
2Adjust the radio’s volume (see page23).
3Switch to the desired channel.
Hold the radio in a vertical
position with its microphone 1
to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) away
from your mouth.
