Checking Messages Remotely

If you have a touch-tone phone, you can access your

messages remotely.

Call your home.

When the answering machine picks up the call,

press * and then enter your security ID number.

A synthesized voice prompts you with

instructions.

To skip the voice prompts and operate the base

station directly, press the appropriate number key

on the phone. The functions are:

Press 2to play/stop messages

Press 3to skip forwards

Press 1to skip backwards

Press 4to turn the answering

machine on/off

Press 5to record a memo

Press 7to repeat the menu

Press 0to delete the message
