3. GRASS CUTTING

3.1Lift the stone-guard and attach the grass-catcher (1) cor- rectly as shown in the drawing.

3.2To start the engine, follow the instructions in the engine booklet and then pull the blade brake lever (1) towards the han- dle and give a sharp pull on the starter cable knob (2).

3.3The lawn will look better if it is always cut to the same height and in alternate directions.

3.4When you have finishing mowing, release the brake lever

(1)and disconnect the spark plug cap (2).

WAIT FOR THE BLADE TO STOP before carrying out any type of work on the machine.
