Unit is unplugged

Check cord to make sure it is plugged into an electrical outlet

Starter button or bail were improperly used

Press in starter button, hold it, and hold bail

Overload protection switch has popped out

Push it in and follow the Starting Instructions

 

 

MOTOR IS ON, BUT ROTOR WILL NOT TURN

Belt is damaged

Replace the belt, according to Inspecting/Replacing the

 

Driver Belt

 

 

UNIT LEAVES A THIN LAYER OF SNOW ON PLOWED SURFACES
