Serial-to-Wi-Fi Technology. The MultiConnect WF device server provides the powerful ability to IP-enable serial devices allowing more options for data acquisition, device management, and industrial control than would otherwise be available. The device server integrates a processor, proprietary operating system, TCP/IP stack and an 802.11b wireless network connection to provide a complete serial-to- Wi-Fi connectivity solution.

Reduces Development Time. The MultiConnect WF device server can make your existing and next generation serial device IP-ready without requiring hardware changes to its design. It actually provides faster time-to-market because it relieves the burden and expense of writing and maintaining Internet applications. The complete, ready-to-integrate device server allows you to enhance your product while you focus on developing its core features.

Industrial Chassis. The MultiConnect WF device server is packaged in a rugged, industrial chassis with an RS-232 interface connector and 10/100BaseT Ethernet connector. It can be desktop or panel mounted. Numerous LEDs provide visual monitoring of link, activity, operational status and power. It is available with external or RS-232 power options.

Firmware Upgrades. The MultiConnect WF device server features flash memory, which allows for easy firmware updates. These upgrades allow the user to stay current with the latest enhancements that Multi-Tech has to offer.
