You must connect an external power supply to the NI USB-9472. This
power supply provides the current for the devices you connect to the
module. Connect the positive lead of the power supply to the supply
terminal or pin, Vsup, and the negative lead of the power supply to the
common terminal or pin, COM. The eight digital output channels are
internally referenced to COM. Refer to Table3 for the terminal
assignments of the NI USB-9472 with screw terminal. Refer to Figure 7 for
the pin assignments of the NI USB-9472 with D-SUB.
