This section describes how to set up your projector and how to c onnect video and audio sources.
2. Installation and Connections
➊ Setting Up the Screen and the Pr ojector
Selecting a Location
The further your projector is from the screen or wall, the larger t he image. The minimum size the image can be is
approximately 40" (1.0 m) measured diagonally when the projector is roughly 63 inches (1.6 m) from the wall or
screen. The largest the image can be is 300" (7.6 m) when the projector is about 484 inch es (12.3 m) from the wall
or screen. Use the chart below as a rough guide.
Your projector is simple to set up and use.
But before you get started, you must rst:
➊ Set up a screen and the projector.
➋ Connect your computer or video
equipment to the projector. See pages
12 to 14.
➌ Connec t the suppli ed power cabl e.

NOTE: Ensure that the power cable and any oth-
er cables are disconnected before moving the
projector. When moving the projector or when
it is not in use, cover the lens with the lens ca p.

• The Zoom lever adjusts the image size up to +/-10%
• For more details on throw distanc e, see next page.
• Changing the image size starts the Au to Focus to adjust the focus; changing the throw angle start s the Auto Keystone to cor-
rect the vertical keystone distortion.
