Strong Local Service & Support

The Roadster II 128 USB integrates USB technology with 128Kbps ISDN. USB overcomes any throughput issues between the computer and the ISDN TA, also bringing the ease of True Plug and Play convenience to the user. The Roadster

II128 USB is simply plugged into the USB compliant PC and it is automatically detected and installed.

The Roadster II 128 USB allows the user to fully exploit the 128Kbps when surfing on the internet, making it twice as fast as the best 56Kbps analogue modem on the market. The Roadster II 128 USB is definitely the ‘ultimate surfing machine.’

The Roadster ISDN USB is backed with a 1 year warranty as standard and an additional 2 years upon registration**, all provided by NetComm the market leader.

Included with the

Roadster II 128 USB

Your NetComm Roadster II 128 USB package contains the following items: Roadster II 128 USB TA, USB cable, RJ45 BRI cable, CD with included communications software Windows 95/98 drivers and manuals.

USB - TRUE Plug&Play

The Roadster II 128 USB incorporates the latest serial bus technology known as USB (Universal Serial Bus). USB is an evolutionary step up from current serial ports, offering higher throughputs, TRUE Plug & Play and Auto Setup. It also does away with the need to use an external power supply, as the USB port of the computer now supplies the power to the Roadster II 128 USB directly.

Consider these USB advantages;

No requirement for a bulky power pack and a free AC mains socket.

One cable carries power and data, meaning less clutter on your desktop.

Hot plugging, TRUE Plug & Play, just plug your Roadster into your PC and off you go. There is no requirement for you to reboot your PC.

Faster interface, USB as an interface is 10 times faster than parallel ports, 100 times faster than a standard RS 232 serial port . This means that a USB modem interfaces much faster than a serial connected modem.

Multi-Task

With the Roadster II 128 USB, it is possible to use each ISDN- B-Channel independently, for instance you can send or receive a fax on the one channel and surf on the other.

You no longer need to disrupt your internet file download, or your web surfing in order to receive or send off a fax.

Relevant Software

The included NetComm CD contains all you need to make the most of your Roadster ISDN. The included RVS communications software* and G3 Faxing software give the Roadster II 128 USB all the versatility you require, allowing you to fax directly from your desktop. The communications software also allows you to create voicemail facilities.
