SPDIF/OFF:Choosethissettingtooutputanalogsignal,andnosignalis outputtedfromopticaljack.

SPDIF/RAW:ChoosethissettingifyourDVDplayerisconnectedtoapower amplifier withaopticalcable.WhenplayingadiscrecordedwithDolbyDigital, DTSandMPEGaudioformats,thecorrespondingdigitalsignalswillbe outputtedfromtheOpticalOutputjack. SPDIF/PCM:ChoosethissettingifyourDVDplayerisconnectedtoa2- channeldigitalstereoamplifier.WhenplayingadiscrecordedwithDolbyDigital andMPEGaudioformats,audiosignalswillbemodulatedintoa2-channelPCM signal,anditwillbeoutputtedfromtheOpticalOutputjack.
