Face Priority

The face-priority function is activated when Face priority (default setting) is selected for AF area mode (A100), when shooting in Scene auto selector (A34), Portrait (A34), or Night portrait (A35) scene mode, or when shooting in smile mode (A45).

The camera automatically detects and focuses on a face looking toward the camera.

1Frame a picture.

When the camera recognizes a face looking toward the camera, that face will be framed by a yellow double border.
