Control de la cámara: modo PTP/IP

En el modo PTP/IP, una cámara equipada con un WT-2 se puede controlar a través de una red inalámbrico desde un ordenador en el que se ejecute Nikon Capture 4 versión 4.2 o posterior (disponible por separado), y las fotografías se pueden guardar directamente en el disco duro del ordenador. Para poder con- trolar la cámara desde el ordenador, antes es necesario ajustar adecuadamente la configuración inalámbrico, y la cámara y el ordenador se deben “emparejar” mediante software especial. A continuación se enumeran los pasos principales que es necesario seguir para utilizar por primera vez el modo PTP/IP:

Los pasos 1 a 3 se pueden omitir cuando ya se ha configurado el WT-2 para conectarlo con un ordenador en concreto.

Instalación del software de emparejamiento

Se debe instalar previamente la utilidad Wireless Connecting Utility que acom- paña al WT-2 en el ordenador host para poder emparejarlo con la cámara. Consulte la página 39 para obtener más información.

Configuración de red inalámbrico

Para obtener información sobre los ajustes de la configuración de red inalámbrico sin utilizar el Asistente de conexión, consulte la “Guía de menús” (26–31). Consulte la página 25 para obtener información sobre la carga de los archivos de configuración creados con un ordenador.

Firewalls

El modo PTP/IP utiliza el puerto UDP 5353. Tal vez sea necesario ajustar los valores del firewall antes de conectarse a un ordenador situado detrás de un firewall.
