General PrecautionsThere are several simple guidelines to operating your phone properly and
maintaining safe, satisfactory service.
䢇Hold the phone with the antenna raised, fully-extended, and over
yourshould er.
䢇Try not to hold, bend, or twist the phone’s antenna.
䢇Don’t use the phone if the antenna is damaged.
䢇Use only in the normal position as explained in the product
documentation. Do not touch the antenna unnecessarily.
䢇Speak directly into the mouthpiece.
䢇Use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean any lenses, such as camera,
proximity sensor, and light sensor.
䢇Avoid exposing your phone and accessories to rain or liquid spills.
Ifyour phone does get wet, immediately turn the power off and
remove the battery.
䢇Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause interference or danger.
䢇Obey all local laws. Always keep your hands free to operate the vehicle
while driving. Your first consideration while driving should be road
safety.
䢇Your phone is not water-resistant. Keep it dry. Precipitation, humidity,
and all types of liquids or moisture can contain minerals that will
corrode electronic circuits. If your phone does get wet, remove the
battery, and allow the phone to dry completely before replacing it.
䢇Use of vibration can aggravate injuries. Do not turn vibration on if you
have any aliment in the bones or joints of your fingers, hands, wrists,
or arms.
䢇Although your phone is quite sturdy, it is a complex piece of
equipment and can be broken. Avoid dropping, hitting, bending, or
sitting on it.
䢇Parts of the phone are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted
to the phone. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage
media near the phone, because information stored on them may be
erased.
䢇When connecting to any other device, read its user guide for detailed
safety instructions. Do not connect incompatible products.
䢇Any changes or modifications to your phone not expressly approved in
this document could void your warranty for this equipment and void
your authority to operate this equipment.
䢇Remember to make back-up copies or keep a written record of all
