Make a voice call

Do one of the following:

Enter the phone number, including the area code, and press the call key.

For international calls, press * twice for the international prefix (the + character replaces the international access code), enter the country code, the area code without the leading 0, if necessary, and the phone number.

Press the call key once to list the last called numbers, and press the call key.

Call a name or number in Contacts. See "Contacts" p. 28.

To increase or decrease the volume during a call, press the volume key up or down.

Answer or reject a voice call

To answer a call, press the call key. To end the call, press the end key.

To reject a call, press the end key.

To mute the ringing tone, select Silence. Then answer or reject the call.

Speed dialling

To assign a number to one of the speed-dialling keys, 2 to 9:

1Select Menu > Contacts > Speed dials.

2Scroll to the speed-dialling number that you want.

3Select Assign, or if a number has already been assigned to the key, select Options > Change.

4Select Search and the contact you want to assign.

If the Speed dialling function is off, the phone asks whether you want to activate it.

Select Menu > Settings > Call > Speed dialling > On or Off.

To call a number, press and hold a speed-dialling key until the call begins.
