2. Getting Started

Installing the SIM card

•Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small children.

•The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratch- es or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting or remov- ing the card.

•Before installing the SIM card, always make sure that the phone is switched off and then remove the battery.

1With the back of the phone

facing you, press the locking catch of the battery down- wards(1.), and lift the battery off the phone (2.).

2Release the SIM card holder by

drawing it in the direction of the arrow.

3Insert the SIM card ensuring

that the bevelled corner is on the right side and that the golden connectors are down- wards. Follow the directions on the phone.
