Symptom:

One of the following messages appears:

Connecting...

Server unreachable. Reconnecting in xx seconds.

802.1 QoS is not supported on your network.

Description:

These messages indicate that the connection with the communication server cannot be established. The IP Softphone 2050 sets a random retry time, after which it attempts to reconnect. This process repeats until the IP Softphone 2050 successfully connects.

The “Connecting...” message appears briefly (or not at all) under the following conditions:

The communication server is running and reachable.
