*1 The shooting speed varies depending on the settings for “image quality” (p. 30).

When set to [j], the flash (p.26) cannot be set to [REDEYE]. In addition, when set to [c], [d] or [B] the flash is fixed to [FLASH OFF].

[IMAGE SIZE] is limited to [n] or lower when set to [c] or [d], and to [2] or lower when set to [B]. The ISO sensitivity is fixed at [ISO AUTO] in both cases.

Setting of recording sound when shooting still images (R) is disabled when taking sequential shots.

Timelapse shooting

Once the shutter button is pressed, the first shot will be taken, and subsequently all other shots will be taken automatically. The camera automatically enters sleep mode after the first frame has been saved. Sleep mode is exited around 7 seconds before the next shot. Once the preset number of frames is taken, the camera automatically turns off.

Use of charged batteries or an AC adapter is recommended when taking frames over an extended period of time.

If any of the following operations are performed while the camera is in sleep mode, the camera cancels timelapse mode and returns to normal shooting: opening of the battery/card compartment cover, connecting the camera to a computer, pressing the shutter button or wheel controller.

If the internal memory or card or the battery power runs out during timelapse mode, a warning is displayed, [TIMELAPSE] mode is canceled and the camera automatically turns off.
