POWERING THE RECORDER

For portable use, you can power the recorder from inter- nal batteries. You can also power it from a standard AC outlet or your vehicle’s cigarette-lighter socket.

Using Internal Battery Power

The recorder uses two AA batteries. For the best results, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-552. Or, you can use rechargeable nickel- cadmium batteries, such as Cat. No. 23-125, with a bat- tery charger (Cat. No. 23-133).

Cautions:

•Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type.

•Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
