One-Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc.doingbusiness as Jarden Consumer Solutions or if in Canada,Sunbeam Corporation (Canada) Limited doing businessas JardenConsumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants thatfora period of oneyear from the dateof purchase,this product will be free from defectsin materialand workmanship. JCS, at itsoption,will repair or replace this product or anycomponentof theproduct found to be defectiveduring the warranty period. Replacement will be made witha new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement maybe madewith a similar product of equal or greatervalue. Thisis your exclusive warranty. Do NOTattemptto repair or adjustany electrical or mechanicalfunctions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
Thiswarrantyis validfortheoriginal retail purchaserfromthe date of initialretail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the originalsales receipt. Proof of purchaseis requiredto obtain warrantyperformance. JCS dealers, service centers,or retail stores selling JCSproductsdo not have the rightto alter,modify or any waychange theterms andconditionsof this warranty.
Thiswarrantydoes not covernormal wearof partsor damage resulting fromany of thefollowing:negligent use or misuseof the product,use on improper voltageor current, use contrary to theoperatinginstructions, disassembly,repair or alterationby anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS servicecenter. Further,the warranty does not cover:Actsof God,such as fire,flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’sLiability?
JCS shall notbe liableforanyincidental or consequential damagescaused by the breach of anyexpress, implied or statutory warrantyor condition.
Except to theextent prohibitedby applicable law,any implied warrantyor condition of merchantability or fitness for a particularpurpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaimsall otherwarranties,conditions or representations, express,implied, statutoryor otherwise.
JCS shall notbe liableforanydamages of anykind resulting from the purchase,useor misuseof,or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits,or forany breach of contract, fundamentalor otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaserby anyotherparty.
Some provinces, statesor jurisdictionsdo not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidentalor consequential damages or limitations on howlongan implied warranty lasts, so the abovelimitationsor exclusion maynot apply to you.
Thiswarrantygives youspecificlegal rights,and you may alsohaveother rights thatvaryfromprovinceto province, state to stateor jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
