≥When kept pressed, the indication changes
in 30-minute steps.

6Press 1 to select the Category. Then,
select the desired category by pressing
3421.
≥Alternatively, you can set the category on
the Navigator list. (See page 29 for details.)
≥This function is activated when JET
NAVIGATOR is set to ON. (See page 16.)
When JET NAVIGATOR is set to OFF,
proceed to the step 8.
7Press MENU to make
the previous display

8To activate timer
recording, press TIMER Á.
≥When JET NAVIGATOR is set to ON, the
[PROGRAM IS COMPLETED REMAINING
PROGRAM 49] message appears.

Timer Recording

4-Key Programming

Up to 16 timer programs, including weekly and
daily programs, can be recorded up to one
month in advance by setting the timer.
Preparations
≥Insert a video cassette tape with an intact
erasure prevention tab.
≥Confirm that the TV is on and the VCR
viewing channel is selected.
≥Turn on the VCR.
≥Check that the clock is set to the correct time.
If it has not been set, refer to page 14.
≥Press VCR/TV to select the VCR mode.
