Yet the wellspring for such remarkable innovation can be traced back to a simple mission statement eloquently articulated by our founder nearly a century ago: Panasonic serves society with high-quality products that make peoples’ everyday lives more productive and enjoyable. This guiding principle continues to drive everything we do and is what we call “ideas for life.” This people-first mantra has also inspired our company Environmen- tal Statement, in which we pledge to practice prudent, sustainable use of the earth’s natural resources and the protection of our environment.
