Follow steps 1–5.

In step 2: Connect the stereo headphones or stereo earphones to the [Ë] jack. (Plug in firmly.)

In step 4: The time until play starts depends on the number of files on the disc. If the unit cannot read the disc cor- rectly (it is scratched or dirty or the unit is bumped), some files may be left unread or the disc may not be read at all.

If in Disc mode, play stops after the last track on the disc. If in Album mode, play stops after the last track in the album.

Resume function notes

Opening the lid while in the stop mode or replacing the disc while in the off mode cancels the function. (It may re- main active if you replace a disc in the off mode.)

Play may resume from the beginning of the next track if you stopped play near the end of a track. The resume function works automatically and cannot be turned off.

Note!

You cannot search when playing MP3 files.

If the disc is scratched or the condition of the recording is poor, some noise may occur before the unit goes to stop mode.

To switch between Disc and Album mode

Disc mode

Plays all the tracks on the disc.

Album mode

Plays all the tracks in the current album.

Press during play or stop mode.
