Problem Check points
Even if connected by the
USB cable, this unit is
not recognized by the
PC.
≥Select another USB terminal on the PC.
≥Check the operating environment. (P11)
≥Disconnect the AC adaptor and the USB cable and then
connect them again.
When the USB cable is
disconnected, an error
message will appear on
PC.
≥To disconnect the USB cable safely, double-click the
()
icon in the task tray and follow the instructions
on the screen.
The PC will not start up.
≥DId you connect this unit to the PC with the USB cable before
turning on the power to the PC?
>Start up the PC and then connect this unit to it.
A region code setting
screen appears when
trying to play a DVD
video.
≥The region code is not set when this unit is purchased. Check
the setting contents and then click [OK]. Playback of the DVD
video will start after the setting is changed to the new region
code. You can change the setting 5times. Be aware that you
cannot change the setting after the fifth time and the region
code is fixed to the last setting.
