Whether the camera is in use or not, never

aim it at the sun or other extremely bright

objects. Otherwise, blooming or smear may

be caused.

7. Do not operate the camera beyond the

specified temperature, humidity or power

source ratings.

Use the camera under conditions where tem-

perature is between –10 °C - +50 °C (14 °F -

122 °F), and humidity is below 90 %. The

input power source is 220 V - 240 V AC 50 Hz

for WV-CP250, and 24 V AC 50 Hz or 12 V

tures from colour to black and white in low light conditions.

COLOUR FIX: Colour picture reverts to black-and-white picture when an exter- nal day/night switching signal is received (refer to Day/Night connec- tions).

Note: When using this unit with infrared rays or lighting of which colour temperature is 3 000 K or less, select this mode without fail, and short-circuit the Day/Night input terminals if you select the black-and- white picture.

(The AUTO mode may cause hunting.) AUTO: The camera selects black-and-white

mode if the picture is dark, or colour mode if the picture is bright enough.

Notes:

• When using this unit with a video servo

control lens, you may not switch from the

black-and-white mode to the colour

HI: Colour picture switches to black-and- white pictures at approx. 7 lx with F1.2 lens.

Panasonic WV-CP254E specifications Precautions, Focus or FLANGE-BACK Adjustment, Connections, Specifications, Preface

WV-CP250, WV-CP254E specifications

The Panasonic WV-CP254E and WV-CP250 are advanced surveillance cameras designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern security applications. These cameras are part of Panasonic's extensive line of professional video surveillance solutions, featuring cutting-edge technology that ensures high-quality video capture and reliable performance.

Both the WV-CP254E and WV-CP250 employ a 1/3-inch CCD sensor, which is essential for delivering superior image quality in various lighting conditions. With a resolution of 540 TV lines for the WV-CP254E and 420 TV lines for the WV-CP250, these cameras offer clear and detailed images, making them ideal for monitoring critical areas in commercial and industrial environments. The WV-CP254E also features a high sensitivity rating, allowing it to perform effectively in low-light situations, which is crucial for 24/7 surveillance.

One of the standout features of these models is their advanced digital signal processing (DSP) technology. This technology enhances image clarity by minimizing noise and improving dynamic range, enabling users to capture clearer images in challenging lighting conditions. Additionally, the WV-CP254E comes with Super Dynamic technology, which further enhances its ability to capture images in high-contrast environments, ensuring that both bright and dark areas of a scene are visible.

These cameras are also equipped with a built-in motion detection feature that allows them to identify and record movement within a specified area. This functionality not only helps in monitoring but also conserves storage space by triggering recording only when necessary. The WV-CP254E and WV-CP250 can be integrated easily into existing surveillance systems, thanks to their compatibility with various video formats and protocols.

Furthermore, both models boast durable construction, making them suitable for harsh outdoor conditions. Designed to withstand temperature extremes and environmental factors, they are perfect for use in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings, parking lots, and public spaces. The cameras can also be outfitted with different lenses, offering flexibility in terms of field of view and application.

In conclusion, the Panasonic WV-CP254E and WV-CP250 cameras are robust surveillance solutions characterized by high-resolution imaging, advanced processing technologies, and durability. Their performance in low-light conditions, as well as their motion detection capabilities, makes them indispensable tools for professionals seeking reliable security monitoring enhancements. These features ensure that users receive a comprehensive surveillance system that meets the needs of a wide range of applications.
