STEP 6:

¯Securely fasten the BACKPAD(9) to the LEFT(5) and RIGHT(6) BACKPADANGLESusing four 3/8 BOLTS(18) and four 3/8" FLATWASHERS(23) as shown in FIGURE

¯Securely fasten the SEATPAD(10) to the HINGETABS(13) using two 3/8 1"BOLTS (18) and two 3/8" FLAT WASHERS(23) as shown in FIGURE

¯Securely tighten the four connectionson the 1/4 X 2 X16-1/2" PLATES(4), then back nuts off 1/4 of a turn until the BACKPAD(9) adjusts easily.
