12PM specifications

The Peavey 12PM is a powerful and versatile stage monitor designed for musicians and audio professionals seeking high-quality sound reproduction. Known for its robust construction and exceptional performance, the 12PM is widely used in live sound applications, rehearsals, and studio settings.

One of the standout features of the Peavey 12PM is its 12-inch heavy-duty woofer, which delivers clear and punchy low frequencies. This is complemented by a 1-inch titanium compression driver that provides crisp high frequencies, ensuring that vocals and instruments can be heard clearly on stage. The combination of these components allows the 12PM to deliver a frequency response that spans from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

The cabinet design of the 12PM is another significant advantage. It features a trapezoidal shape that allows for efficient placement on stage, directing sound towards the performer while minimizing feedback. The rugged construction includes durable MDF material, which ensures longevity and resilience against wear and tear associated with live performances. Additionally, the cabinet is finished with a tough black carpet covering that adds to its aesthetic appeal and provides protection.

Portability is an essential factor for any stage monitor, and the Peavey 12PM excels in this regard. Weighing in at a manageable level, it is easy to transport and set up, making it a go-to choice for touring musicians and sound engineers. The integrated handles on the sides of the cabinet enhance its portability, allowing for quick and convenient movement between gigs.

In terms of connectivity, the Peavey 12PM includes a comprehensive input panel that caters to various audio sources. It features a combination of 1/4-inch and Speakon connectors, facilitating easy connection to mixers and other audio equipment. The versatile design also means that it can be used in various configurations, whether as a standalone monitor or as part of a larger sound system.

The 12PM also incorporates Peavey's patented Tru-Mid technology, which helps to reduce distortion and enhance vocal clarity. This feature is particularly beneficial in live settings where clarity and intelligibility are paramount.

Overall, the Peavey 12PM is an exceptional choice for artists and audio professionals seeking a reliable, high-performance monitor. Its blend of rugged construction, high-quality components, and innovative features make it an indispensable tool for any live sound application. Whether on stage or in the studio, the Peavey 12PM delivers impressive sound quality that enhances the overall performance experience.
