Full Range Operation

Bi-amp Operation
The practice of bi amplification allows full control over the performance of the HiSys 6XT. To change the enclosure from passive to bi amp mode or vice versa, it is necessary to gain access to the internal crossover board. The correct procedure is as follows:-
1.Remove the four screws retaining the grille. Remove the grille. Remove the four M5 bolts retaining the 10" Scorpion. Remove the speaker. The crossover board can be viewed through the opening and two large sockets will be visible.

Crossover Selection

For use with other electronic crossovers and configurations, consult your Authorised Peavey Dealer. NOTE! EQ is required for the 22XT compression driver.
Operation
The HiSys 6XT will normally be required to be used with a subwoofer such as the Peavey HiSys 112XT unless response below 100Hz is not required. The HiSys 6XT is simply connected to the hi output of the HiSys 112XT (refer to HiSys 112XT operating guide). To operate the HiSys 6XT and the HiSys 112XT in a bi amp mode situation leave the HiSys 6XT in passive mode and repatch the HiSys 112XT for bi amp mode.
