PV® 15 PM
Thank you for purchasing the class D powered PV® 15 PM. The PV® 15 PM is a two-way self-powered floor monitor based on a 15” Sheffield® Pro 1500+ woofer and a 14T™ titanium diaphragm dynamic compression driver mounted on a 75° by 75° coverage Quadratic Throat Waveguide™ horn. The PV® 15 PM features a bi-amped power section that provides 150 watts power for the woofer and 50 watts power for the compression driver tweeter, both with Peavey-exclusive DDT™ compression.
Input jacks provided are a balanced input XLR and a 1/4”phone combo jack, with mic/line switchable gain, and a volume control.

Description
The Peavey PV® 15 PM is a powered, bi-amplified, two-way, stage monitor speaker system engineered to provide very high levels of performance in a compact powered loudspeaker. The PV® 15 PM is capable of generating peak SPL up to 119 dB. The lightweight yet rugged carpet covered monitor enclosure with stand mount cup facilitates portable use for live music or speech sound reinforcement, as well as it’s primary purpose as a stage monitor. The wedge-shaped curved-front enclosure provides a 40 ° monitoring angle. A curved black powder coated steel grille provides driver protection and a professional appearance.
This two-way powered monitor system is comprised of a 150 watt class D power amp driving a 15” Sheffield® Pro 1500+ woofer. The 14T™ compression driver is driven by a 50 watt class D power amp, and features a 1.4” titanium diaphragm coupled to a patented Peavey exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide™ horn, with a 75° 75° coverage pattern.
Both amplifiers feature our patented Peavey-exclusive DDT™ compression, which virtually eliminates audible power amplifier clipping.
A balanced input to the preamp/EQ electronics consists of one combo female XLR and 1/4" TRS phone jack. It is switchable between mic-level and line-level sensitivity. Two 1/4" phone jacks are provided for link-out / link-in capability. The link-out is post- level and pre-crossover, while the direct-in is a direct pre-crossover input.
A woofer servo senses back-EMF from the woofer voice coil that is not a result of the drive signal, and subtracts the error so that the woofer cone follows the drive waveform more precisely.
Constant loudness (Fletcher-Munson) circuit is incorporated for accentuating bass and treble at low listening volume levels.
Two handles on the rear help ease transport and set-up, while a stand-mount adaptor on one end allows for easy speaker stand mounting for side-fill or PA use.
