Selecting the Quality Level

Image quality refers to the compression rate of still pictures.

The more stars, the higher the quality and the larger the filesize. The recorded pixels setting also affects the filesize of your pictures (1p.91).

Quality Level

 

 

Captures the image as uncompressed TIFF data. Suitable

Best

Lowest compression rate. Suitable for photo prints. Images

are saved as JPEG data.

Better

Standard compression rate. Suitable for viewing the image

Highest compression rate. Suitable for attaching to e-mails
