1.Switching the Focus Mode

Use the camera’s focus mode switch to change between the autofocus mode and manual-focus mode. For details, refer to your camera’s manual.

•If you use the lens with a manual-focus camera, focus the lens manually.

2.Using Autofocus

Set to autofocus with the camera’s focus mode, and press the shutter button halfway or

press the AF button of and MZ-S to autofocus.

•Note that during the autofocus operation, the D FA lens’ focusing ring does not rotate. However, do not turn the focusing ring during the autofocus operation. Doing so will cause a malfunction.
