Taking Pictures in the Basic Mode (Green Mode)In the Green Mode, you can enjoy easy picture-taking using standard4 settings*, regardless of the settings in the [ARec. Mode] menu.

•In Green Mode, you cannot change the information displayed on the LCD monitor by pressing the 4/Wbutton.

•You cannot use the [ARec. Mode] menu or Capture Mode Palette in Green Mode. If you try to display the [ARec. Mode] menu or Capture Mode Palette, - (key lock icon) appears.

•If you switched to Qmode from Green Mode, you cannot display the [HSetting] menu by pressing the 3 button. If you try to display the [HSetting] menu, - (key lock icon) appears.

•When the camera is turned off in the Green Mode, it turns on in the Green Mode next time the power switch is pressed.
