n Move the camera to the right without changing your stance.m Overlap the images.

The first image will appear in a semi-transparent state on top of the second image. Compose the picture so that the first semi-transparent image is superimposed on the outlines of the second real image.

If the overlapping images are hard to see, use the four-way controller to move the semi-transparent image and superimpose it on the real image.

The semi-transparent section is lengthened sideways and moves up and down when the four-way controller is pressed.

• 3D image picture cannot be taken when the Quality level is set to TIFF.

Press the Menu button to end 3D shooting.

A clear three-dimensional effect will not be achieved if the two images are taken in widely different positions (heights) or are not straight. When taking a person, you are recommended to ask your model to stay as still as possible and to take the sec- ond picture as quickly as you can. It is easier to take the pic- tures if you use a tripod or appropriate base.

As a guide, the camera should be moved about 1/40 of the dis- tance between the camera and the subject. For example, if the

subject is 3m away, the distance the camera should be moved will be 3m 40=7.5cm.
