Optimizing Pictures for the Scene Type (Picture Modes)

You can select the Picture mode according to the shooting scene.

Picture Mode

There are seven modes available in Picture mode.

H	Landscape	Enhances your landscape photos.
	(Default Setting)
I	Flower	Enhances your flower photos.
J	Portrait	Enhances your portrait photos.
M	Self-Portrait	Enhances self-portraits or photos including yourself.
>	Surf	Enhances photos taken against dazzling backgrounds
		such as beaches.
{	Snow	Enhances photos taken against dazzling backgrounds
		such as snow.
K	Sunset	Beautiful results on photos of sunsets or sunrises.

1	Press the four-way controller (23) in Capture mode.
2	The Virtual mode dial appears.
	Use the four-way controller (23)
3	to select the [Picture Mode (H)] dial.
