Protecting Images and Sound Files from Deletion (Protect)

You can protect stored images and sound files from being accidentally deleted.

1	Press the four-way controller (3) in Q mode.
2	The Playback Mode Palette appears.
	Use the four-way controller (2345) to select Z
3	(Protect).
	Press the 4 button.
4	The protect screen appears.
	Use the four-way controller (23)
	to select [Select image/sound].
5				Select image/sound
	Press the 4 button.			All Images/Sounds
	The screen for choosing an image or sound	MENU			OK OK
6	file to protect appears.
	Use the four-way controller (45)				100-0017
	to choose the image or sound file
			Protect this image/sound
	you want to protect.

	Use the four-way controller (2) to
				Protect
	select [Protect].			Unprotect
8	Press the 4 button.	MENU Cancel			OK OK

The selected image or sound file is protected.

•To cancel the Protect setting, select [Unprotect] in Step 7.

•Yappears below the file number on protected images and sound files during playback.
