Setting the World Time

The date and time selected in “Setting the Date and Time” (p.38) serve as the W (Hometown) date and time.

By using the world time function, you can display the time in a city other than the Hometown (XDestination). This is useful when taking pictures in a different time zone.

The procedure for setting the Destination date and time is described below.

1 Select [World Time] on the [u Setting] menu. 2 Press the four-way controller (5).

The World Time screen appears.
3 Use the four-way controller (23)	Destination		OFF
	New York	14:25
to select X (Destination) or W	Hometown		DST
			OFF
	New York	14:25
(Hometown).
X : Displays the time in the city selected	MENU Cancel	OK OK

as the Destination city

W: Displays the time in the city selected as the Hometown city

4	Press the four-way controller (5).		Destination	19:25
	The Destination screen appears. The city
5	that is currently selected blinks on the map.
	Use the four-way controller (45)
	to change the Destination city.	City	London
		DST	TimeDif. +05:00
	The current time, location and time	MENU Cancel		OK OK

difference of the selected city appear.

6 Use the four-way controller (3) to select [DST].
