The SMC-FA 28-105mm lens is one of the most compact and light- weight in its category. Thanks to the incorporation of a hybrid aspheri- cal lens element, it measures only 2.6˝ in diameter and 2.6˝ in length and weighs a mere 9.0 ounces. This aspherical element also contributes to the improvement in image quality and the reduction of coma and spherical aberrations. Image quality is further enhanced by the application of Pentax’s original SMC ghostless coating.
