Description

The CM590i is a high-powered 5.25” 2-way loudspeaker in a ported in-ceiling enclosure design. The CM590i incorporates a low-profile grille, proprietary HP5TM motor-board and 6-position tap switch with voice coil/8 Ohm direct. A tile bridge is included and the speaker features a fast- action SpeedWingTM for easy and secure installation.

Applications

Engineered for high-SPL and effective low-end response (69 Hz @ - 10 dB), the CM590i delivers consistent high-perfor- mance music and paging for applications requiring longer throw or higher volume above the existing ambient noise level. The CM590i is ideal for in-ceiling sound rein- forcement/PA in applications with high ambient noise levels including casinos, warehouses, airports, transportation & ship- ping centers, schools, gyms, arenas and sta- diums. For additional bass down to 43 Hz (-10 dB) the CM801i subwoofer may be used.

CM590i specifications

The Phase Technology CM590i is an advanced in-ceiling loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional sound quality for both home theater and music applications. This architectural speaker combines innovative technology with sophisticated design, making it a popular choice among audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

One of the standout features of the CM590i is its 9-inch woofer, which is crafted from a proprietary composite material. This woofer provides deep, rich bass response that enhances the overall audio experience, allowing for a full-bodied sound that resonates well in larger spaces. Complementing the woofer is a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter that ensures clear and crisp high frequencies, enabling users to enjoy the nuances of their favorite tracks or movie soundtracks.

The CM590i also incorporates Phase Technology's unique U-shaped enclosure design, which minimizes cabinet resonance and distortion. This design is essential for maintaining audio clarity, allowing the speaker to perform optimally even at high volumes. Additionally, the speaker is equipped with a proprietary bass port that further enhances low-frequency response, providing an immersive listening experience.

Another significant feature of the CM590i is its versatility. The speaker is equipped with a rotating tweeter that can be adjusted for optimal sound dispersion. This allows for precise tuning based on the room's layout and listening position, ensuring that regardless of where you are seated, you receive the best possible sound. The CM590i also features a paintable grill that allows it to blend seamlessly with any interior design, maintaining the aesthetic integrity of your living space.

Furthermore, the CM590i utilizes high-quality components throughout its design, including custom crossover networks that ensure a smooth transition between the woofer and tweeter frequencies. This results in a well-balanced sound profile that accommodates a variety of listening preferences.

In summary, the Phase Technology CM590i in-ceiling speaker is a remarkable product that encapsulates cutting-edge audio technology with practical design features. Its robust woofer and tweeter combination, innovative enclosure design, and adjustable sound dispersion make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their audio experience.
