Technical Information for System Engineers

projected into the dome, SoundTube’s proprietary technology reflects sound waves from the upper registers of the frequency spectrum directly beneath the dome.

SoundTube Entertainment is con- sistently developing new technologies that enhance audio product perfor- mance. SoundTube Entertainment innovations are protected by multiple U.S. and international patents, which explicitly cover SoundTube dome, enclosure, mounting and dispersion technologies. SoundTube Entertain- ment actively defends it patents in order to protect SoundTube resellers and end-users.

Data Acquisition

All performance data are acquired from SoundTube’s Technical Measure- ment Center and always verified by independent sources. For questions about specific testing procedures, con- tact SoundTube Entertainment direct (techinfo@soundtube.com..)All data are analyzed using a variety of standard measurement techniques, including Measured Length Sequence (MLS) and Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS). Performance, development and data acquisition tolls include: Gold Line TEF 20, CLIO, LMS, LEAP and proprietary modeling software. EASE™ data are acquired through an automated TEF 20/Outline/EASE™ interface.

Architectural Specifications

The loudspeaker shall consist of two

25 mm (1.0 in) transducers with a voice coil diameter of 20.5 mm (0.81 in). Sound waves from the transducers shall be reflected from a 781 mm (30.75 in) Dual- Parabolic™ sound dome.

Performance specifications of a typical unit shall be as follows: Useable frequency response shall extend from 104 Hz – 22 kHz (-10 dB). Measured sensitivity (2.83 Volt input, 0.5 meter) shall be at least 80.5 dB stereo (83.5 dB mono). The maximum continuous output at 0.5 meter shall be

92.5dB stereo or 95.5 dB mono. The loud- speaker shall come with a CAT 5 plus four 16-gauge hardwire leads and be avail- able in 8 Ohm impedance mode (4 Ohm if bridged/mono), or with an optional 25/70.7/100 Volt transformer and accompa- nying junction box. For the 8 Ohm model, tap setting will be by hardwire lead. For the transformer model, the transformer unit and 4-position tap switch will be sup- plied in a junction box.

The dome shall be constructed of custom-molded PETG with a high-impact polystyrene driver enclosure. The trans-

FP6030 specifications

The Phase Technology FP6030 is an innovative speaker designed to meet the demands of both professional and home audio environments. Known for its exceptional sound quality and performance, the FP6030 is a significant addition to the Phase Technology range, aimed at audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

One of the standout features of the FP6030 is its advanced driver technology. The speaker incorporates a 6.5-inch treated paper cone woofer, engineered to deliver deep, rich bass tones that resonate throughout any room. This is complemented by a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, which offers clear and detailed high frequencies. Together, these drivers create a harmonically balanced sound profile that enhances the listening experience, whether for music, movies, or gaming.

The FP6030 also showcases Phase Technology's proprietary technologies. One such technology is the Dynamic Balance design. This unique approach to driver construction reduces unwanted resonances and distortions, resulting in cleaner sound reproduction. Additionally, the speaker features a well-ventilated enclosure, which helps manage airflow and reduces any potential distortion during high-volume playback.

Ease of integration is another key characteristic of the FP6030. Its sleek and modern design allows it to fit seamlessly into various interior styles, while its versatile mounting options make it suitable for both in-wall and on-wall configurations. This flexibility makes it an excellent choice for home theater setups or multi-room audio systems.

The FP6030 is designed with durability in mind. The cabinet is constructed from high-quality MDF, offering stability and resonance control, while the speaker components are built to withstand the rigors of daily use. The finishing is aesthetically pleasing, available in several colors to match diverse décor themes.

Overall, the Phase Technology FP6030 is a speaker that excels in sound quality, design, and versatility. Its combination of advanced driver technology, proprietary features, and thoughtful engineering makes it an ideal choice for anyone seeking to elevate their audio experience, whether at home or in a professional setting.
