Data Acquisition

All performance data acquired at SoundTube’s Technical Measurement Center (TMC) are analyzed using a variety of standard measurement tech- niques, including Measured Length Sequence (MLS) and Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS). Performance, development and data acquisition tools include: Gold Line TEF 20, CLIO, LMS, LEAP, and proprietary modeling software. EASE™ data are acquired through an automated CLIO/Outline/ EASE™ interface.

Architectural Specifications

The amplifier shall consist of a RCA, mini plug and high power input, a gain control and power supply.

The power supply shall be an on-wall with input of 100-240v AC, 50/60 Hz and Output of 12v DC, 2500mA. It shall be certified by UL. An optional power source shall be a Desktop with and input of 100-240v AC, 50/60 Hz and an output of 12v DC, 3000mA. It shall be Certified UL, CE and RoHS.

Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall be as follows: 20 w of power per channel (20-20kHz, 4 ohm, both channels driven) or 10 w of Power per channel (20-20kHz, 4 ohm, both chan- nels driven). The amplifier shall have a input impedance of 6 kOhms. The high pass filter shall have an f3 of 250 Hz and a slope 6 dB/oct. The Low pass filter shall have an f of 310 Hz and a slope 6 dB/oct.

The max gain shall be 35 dB

The external wiring output connec- tor shall be a terminal block that shall accept from 10 – 22 gauge wire. The sys- tem shall be for indoor applications.

The enclosure shall be constructed of extruded aluminum. Overall cabi- net dimensions shall be no more than 26.04mm (1.03 in) in height by 69.60 mm (2.74 in) in width and 101.90mm (4.01in) in depth. The SA201 shall include mounting hardware, power supply and high power input wire.
