Enable or disable EasyLink

Note
Do not enable Ph ilips EasyLink i f you do not •
intend to use i t.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Installation] > [Preferences] >
[EasyLink].
3 Select [On] or [Off].

Use one-touch play

1 After enab ling EasyLink, pr ess play on
your device.
The TV automatically switches to the »
correct source.

Use one-touch standby

1 Press (Standby-On) on the TV’s or
device’s remote co ntrol.
The TV and all connected HDMI »
devices switch to standby.

Set TV speakers to EasyLink mode

When you play conte nt from an EasyLink
compliant home t heater, the TV speaker s are
automatically muted.
1 Enable one-to uch play and one-touch
standby be tween your Easylink co mpliant
devices by following t he instruction s
in the previou s section (see ‘Enable or
disable Eas yLink’ on page 34).
2 Press MENU.
3 Press to select [Setup] > [Sound]
> [TV speake rs] > [Auto EasyLink].
The TV speakers are turned off »
automatically when content from an
Easylink compliant system is detected.
Use Philips EasyLink
Your TV suppor ts Philips EasyLin k, which
uses the HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics
Control) protocol. EasyLink-compliant devices
that are conne cted through HDM I connectors
can be control led by a single remote contr ol.
Note
The EasyL ink-compliant dev ice must be •
switched o n and selected as th e source.
Philips does n ot guarantee 100 %
•
interoperability with all HDMI CEC devices.

EasyLink features

One-touch pl ay
When you connec t your TV to devices that
suppor t one-touch play, you can control you r
TV and the de vices with one remote con trol.
One-touch st andby
When you connec t your TV to devices that
support s tandby, you can use your TV re mote
control to put yo ur TV and all connecte d
HDMI devices i n standby mode.
System audio control
When you connec t your TV to HDMI
CEC compliant devices, your T V can
switch auto matically to play audio fr om the
connected d evice.
To use one-touch audio, you m ust map the
audio input f rom the connected devi ce to
your TV.
You can use the remote con trol from the
connected de vice to adjust the volume .
