Access CAM services

1 After ins erting and acti vating the CAM,
press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [Common interface].
Applications provided by the digital TV »
service operator appear on the screen.
Note
This menu opt ion is available only i f the CAM •
is insert ed and activated co rrectly.
Use Philips EasyLink
Your TV supports Philips EasyLink, which
enables one-touch play and one-touch standby
between EasyLink-compliant devices.
Note
Compliant de vices must be connec ted to your •
TV via HDM I.

Enable or disable EasyLink

Note
Do not enable Ph ilips EasyLink i f you do not •
intend to use i t.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Installation] > [Preferences] >
[EasyLink].
3 Select [On] or [Of f].

Use one-touch play

1 After en abling EasyLink , press play on
your device.
The TV automatically switches to the »
correct source.
Use a Conditional Access Module
A Conditional Access Module (CAM) is
provided by digital TV service operator s to
decode digital TV channels.
Note
If required, refer to documentation from your •
operator o n how to insert a smar t card into
the Conditional Access Module.

Insert and activate a CAM

Caution
Be sure to foll ow the instruct ions described •
below. Wrong inse rtion of a CAM may
damage both th e CAM and your TV.
1 Switch off th e TV.
2 Following the d irections printe d on the
CAM, gent ly insert the CAM in to the
COMMON INTERFACE at th e side of
the TV.
3 Push the CA M in as far as it will go.
4 Turn on the TV an d wait for the CAM
to be activate d. This may take several
minutes. Do n ot remove the CAM from
the slot when in u se — removing the
CAM will deactivate digital services.
