Manually adjust picture settings

1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Picture].
3 Press to select the follow ing
settings.
• [Smart picture]:A ccessespre-de ned
smart pic ture settings.
• [Video contras t]: Adjusts the intensi ty
of video contents , keeping backlight
unchanged.
• [Contra st]: Adjust s the intensity of
backlight area s, keeping video conten ts
unchanged.
• [Brightness]: Adjusts the inte nsity and
details of dark a reas.
• [Colour]: Adjusts colour satur ation.
• [Hue]: Compe nsates for colour variat ions.
• [Sharpness]: Adjusts sha rpness in the
image.
• [Noise reduction]: Fil ters and reduces
noise in an image.
• [Tint]: A djusts the colour balan ce in an
image.
• [Custom tint]: Custom ises tint setting.
(Only available if [ Tint] > [Custom] is
selected)
• [Crystal Clear]: Fi ne-tunes each pixel to
match surround ing pixels. This produce s a
brilliant,hi gh-denit ionimage.
• [Dynamic contra st]: Enhances
contrast . You can switch this feature
on or off.
• [Dynamic backli ght]: Adjusts
brightness of th e TV backlight to
match lighting condi tions.
• [Colour enhancement]: M akes
colours more viv id and improves
the details in br ight colours. You can
switch this featu re on or off.
• [PC mode]: Adjusts t he picture when a
PC is connected to th e TV via HDMI or
DVI.
• [Picture format]: Chan ges the picture
format.

Note
When watching T V or using exter nal devices, •
press OPTIONS th en select [Pictur e and
sound] for quick access to pi cture and sound
settings.
