Change TV preferences
Use the preferen ces menu to customise your
TV settings.
1 Press MENU.
2 Select [Setup] > [Installation] >
[Preferences].
• [Location]: Optimises TV set tings for
your location - home or s hop.
• [Volume bar]: Displays the volum e
bar when you adjust t he volume.
• [EasyLink]: Enables one-tou ch play
and one-touch st andby between
EasyLink-compliant devices.
• [Pixel Plus Link]: Overrides the
settings of conn ected devices and
uses the settings of the TV.(Only
available if Easy Link is switched on.)
• [E-sticker]: For shop mode only. Sets
the location of the e -sticker.
3 Press to select your pre ference.
4 Press OK.
5 Press MENU to exit.
Update the TV software
Philips continuously tries to improve its
products and we recommend that you update
the TV software when updates are available.
Check www.philips.com/support for availability.
Check the current software version
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Software update] > [Current software].
The TV displays the current software »
information.
Download the software
1 On your PC, open a web b rowser and go
to www.philips.com/support.
2 Download the lates t software upgr ade
file to your PC.
3 Decompress the ZIP-file.
4 Copy the autorun .upg file to the root
director y of the USB device.
Update using a USB device
Connect your US B device to the USB port a t
the side of your TV.
1 If the softwa re update screen does not
appear automatically, select [Setup] >
[Software update] > [Local updates].
2 Press OK to update the TV sof tware
manually.
3 Follow the on-scre en instructions t o
complete the update.
